Frequently Asked Questions.

You’ve got questions, we’ve got answers (and delicious nuts)

A Baru nut is a delicious, nutritious, all-around-good-for-you nut found in the Cerrado forest.

Baru nuts are a big deal because they’re healthier than every other nut… seriously! They’re lower in fat and calories, higher in fibre and protein, and loaded with antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals.

They also happen to be incredibly delicious, easy for on-the-go, and great for the environment. It’s almost too good to be true.

You bet. Our nutrition facts are as real as our love for healthy snacks. We know how frustrating it can be to buy something labelled as ‘healthy’ only to eat it and feel like total crap afterwards.

You won’t find any added sugar, preservatives, or artificial BS in our products. Only real, sustainably sourced, verified healthy Baru nuts.

Baru nuts aren’t the talk of the town… yet. We’re one of few suppliers of Baru nuts in North America. What sets us apart is our ongoing commitment to sustainability and reforestation efforts in the Baruvida tree’s native regions.

Yes! We’re a completely organic product. The Baruvida tree grows naturally without the use of chemicals or pesticides. Our nuts are hand-harvested straight from the wild. It doesn’t get better than that.

No, our nuts are not raw. They’re delicately roasted before they land on your tastebuds. This helps us achieve a mouth-watering flavour and the perfect amount of crunch!

A snack bag is 3 servings and a mega bag is 10 servings.

You do you, but the skin is incredibly nutritious! It’s full of bioactive compounds that are super healthy for your body.

Our Baru nuts come from a tree called Dipteryx alta, which is undomesticated. This means the trees and seeds develop at different rates. You might get a Baru nut that looks a lil’ different than the other, but we assure you: they’re all equally nutritious and delicious. Pinky promise.

Most nuts will last for about three to six months. You can also store your nuts in a refrigerator if you live in a warmer climate.
