We’re the healthy nut for health nuts. The snack of your dreams. A wellness company that cares not only about improving your health (and wowing your tastebuds)… but taking care of the world we live in, too.
It all started in Brazil…
In the Cerrado Biome, to be exact. Our founder, Jeff Zelinkski, came across the oh-so-magical Baruvida tree and realized it could change the future.
Not only did it grow a revolutionarily healthy nut… these trees were incredibly beneficial for the environment and land in the Cerrado forests.
Jeff knew this was the start of something that had never been done before.

And so, Baruvida was born
We began building our team in 2020 and have been growing stronger ever since.
We’re proud to have two headquarters in Toronto, Canada and Santa Cruz, Bolivia.
In Toronto, our tight-knit team works together to:
- Bring Baruvida’s baru nuts to as many “health nuts” as possible.
- Educate communities about the health benefits of Baru nuts.
- Provide a healthy snack that isn’t full of BS and fake ingredients.
In Bolivia, we have a research and development property in the heart of the forest where we:
- Work directly with the locals of the community to educate them on climate change
- Plant trees for over 40 communities in the Chiquitania area
